Hands-on DIY workshops in London. Practical plumbing and electrical basics, taught in small groups with real tools.

A blocked sink. A tripped fuse. A leak under the bath. We've all been there — and nobody ever taught us what to do.

So we call someone out: £150 just for the call-out, then £200–£350 per job.

Most of those jobs, you could do yourself. In one evening, we'll teach you the practical DIY skills to handle them.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the DIY workshops take place?

In real apartments around London — because that's where you'll actually use these skills. Locations vary from workshop to workshop; the exact address is confirmed when you book.

Do I need any DIY experience or my own tools?

No. The workshops are designed for complete beginners, and all tools and materials are provided. You just turn up ready to get hands-on.

Is it safe and legal to do my own plumbing and electrical work?

We teach the jobs that are safe and legal for you to do yourself in the UK — and, just as importantly, how to recognise the jobs that require a qualified professional. Knowing the difference is part of the course.

Who are the workshops for?

Homeowners, renters and first-time buyers — anyone who wants practical DIY skills and to stop paying call-out fees for ten-minute fixes.

Can I ask questions about my own home?

Yes. Every DIY Basics session ends with 45 minutes of open Q&A — bring your own DIY problems and we'll talk them through.
